| General policies & things to know... The following information is specific to our Recreational Dance Program and Enrichment Classes. For a complete list of Preschool and Dance Company policies please inquire at the front desk. We have 5 sessions of Dance and Enrichment Classes during the year, which very between 8-12 weeks each. We try to closely coordinate our schedule with that of the Newhall School District and give a little extra preparation time before shows and recitals. Tuition is due on or before the first scheduled meeting of your child’s class. We cannot hold or guarantee a space in any class unless your tuition is paid in full. Tuition is non-refundable unless a class is cancelled by Shooting Stars, in which case, the portion of the session that is uncompleted will be refunded. Late payments may be subject to a $10 additional charge. There is a $15 charge for any returned checks. Classes are on-going and meet on the same day of the week, at the same time for the length of the session. You may enroll at any time, space permitting, and your tuition will be pro-rated. We do not charge any registration fees and our holidays are pro-rated, so you only pay for the lessons you will attend! Missed classes will not be credited or redeemed for any cash value. We will allow you to makeup two classes per session. We ask that you call to receive approval from a Shooting Stars staff member in advance of attending a make-up class to avoid overcrowding. Once a make-up class is scheduled it is considered redeemed whether or not you actually attend. You may not carry a make-up class over to the next session if you are not continuing in the program. Please do not bring a sick child to class. We want our classes to be healthy and happy ones. We appreciate you exercising good judgement and thank you in advance for your cooperation. Our schedule may change and adjust each session to meet the needs of our clientele. Please let a staff member know any class requests and/or schedule changes you may have. Updated schedules will be posted approximately two weeks prior to the beginning of each new session. Please confirm your spot in class as soon as possible to avoid overbooking. We give a 10% tuition discount for siblings and often run additional discounts and specials! ALL of our students are invited to participate in a minimum of 2 performances a year. We have an Annual Recital in June, and a fun “Winter Festival” performance in December. For more performance opportunities please inquire about our Dance Company. |
