Toddler Time

This program is designed to introduce your youngster to the joys of preschool!

Our Mission & Philosophy
Our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing environment where your children will be loved, respected,
and allowed to learn at their own pace.

Interactions Among Teachers and Children

Teacher to Child Ratio 1:6     Class size not to exceed 12

Interactions between children and adults provide opportunities for children to develop an
understanding of self and others and are characterized by warmth, personal respect, individuality,
positive support and responsiveness. Teachers facilitate interactions among children to provide
opportunities for development of self-esteem, social competence and intellectual growth.

This is the criteria set forth by the National Association for the Education of Young Children

Important Points

Children entering the program for the 2012-2013 school year need to be born on or before Feb. 1,
2011.

Your separation will depend on how your child is transitioning into our care. This decision will be
made by the parent, teacher and director as to when your child will be ready to attend Toddler
Time on their own. We will not rush this precious and most important milestone.

In the Classroom…

The children will have opportunities to paint, play with playdough, explore dramatic play, and enjoy
storytime, songs and snack together.
In the Playroom… They will engage in plenty of physical
activities such as group games, freeze dance, climbing the rock wall, sliding, and just shaking
their sillies out!

“Every stage of
development is
complete in itself.
The 3 year-old is not
an incomplete 5 year-
old. The child is not
an incomplete adult.
Never are we simply
on our way. Always
we have arrived!
